Reading weeks for me

Looking at my time frame to do a literature review came as a bit of a shock. I thought about the word count before and didn’t feel intimidated by it, but after looking at it more carefully it suddenly dawned on me. This is a literature review for my MA! It needs a lot of time to get it right. My son comes home from University on the 13th December. My daughter has her 16th birthday party that night. She is 16 on Christmas Day so it has to be extra special to make up for the fact that her birthday comes along when everyone else is busy with Christmassy stuff ! My sons 19th Birthday is on the 18th December the deadline day for this review. So I’m up to my eye balls and my brain is full of plans. So I want to try and do this review early. This week. I’ve been reading “My life with Picasso” by Francoise Gilot since October when I went to the Picasso museum in Malaga. I thought about my review and thought why not review this book. So that is what I have now set out to do. I finished it last night in preparation to start the review.

Firstly I would like to say I have learnt so much. Maybe more than going to the exhibition in itself. I loved every minute in the book and I can’t wait to start my review. With the helping had of handouts and few new books.
