Life Drawing Class

Had so much fun this morning in our life drawing class. It was a good warm up lesson using our hand eye co-ordination with line drawing using black sharpies, charcoal and eventually coloured chalk. I found fitting the whole figure on the paper a challenge but enjoyed drawing the detailed lines of the nude and found peace with myself to experiment in ways of showing the lines and shapes without worrying to much about reality. Once we had finished the lesson and the model had left I wanted to draw her from memory. It was an experiment to see how much I could remember and also a chance to play with my imagination. If Picasso was in the room what would he have done? I had fun experimenting and will take these drawings further.
