Had a little change around and a fresh update by putting a few more oil paintings up in Weetons Food Hall for my ongoing Exhibition which has been running through June snd now into July. I had help from my Brother in Law John Burnley at 7am this morning. We had one hour until Weetons opened to get my paintings up.
I am really happy with how the paintings look and enjoyed the great feedback I have had from friends and staff.

I have made 4 more sketches of Ilkley Moor. These sketches have been very popular. I think the colours I used for the exhibition were consistent, the muted tones of greens and blues brought the collection together

Leaving my paintings to dry again for at least a week I think it takes before I can begin again to do the details and texture. I have enjoyed doing these two paintings of HARROGATE buildings that go alongside my landscapes. Now I have to find local people from the past for my portraits if…
